InterAction of Bath's safety cases: NLAW system |
| Saab Bofors Dynamics is currently developing a suite of trainers for the Next Generation Light Anti-armour Weapon (NLAW).
The NLAW system is a shoulder-mounted anti-tank weapon. The training system comprises four trainers of increasing complexity from an inert Drill Round to the Weapon Effect Simulator used in full-scale tactical training exercises. Two of the trainers have pyrotechnic elements and laser tracking systems. We developed the safety cases for all four trainers over a period of two years, culminating in their acceptance in October 2006. |
